[Ed.note: Senator Bayh -- a blue enigma in a red state -- continues to baffle some of us who wonder 'How does he keep getting elected by large margins?' Is it based on an endearing history here as governor? Is it simply charisma? Comments anyone?]
I don't see any inconsistency with Evan's response relating to the Condi Rice confirmation and his track record since the day he decided to accept the Dem's fast track to presidential aspirations. Unfortunately, or fortunately, we have learned the state of Evan's true backbone and that his commitment to himself is greater than to the values that are important to his constituency.
