Missing: Collaborative Christian Services
Please help us identify those Christians & their ministries or businesses that provide these types of services. Leave a comment below. And if this is an area needing considerable collaboration as a Christian network, please leave your comments as to how best to work together toward a solution. Your comments will be appreciated.
Example: Transportation
[however, click for new wiki page for Transportation. PTL]. Consider how difficult it is for many people to find jobs... without adequate transportation. Their options become much more limited. Or how many seniors need transportation -- not just to medical appointments, but also perhaps to church, or to see their lifelong friends or relatives. While it may seem like an insurmountable task for an individual church to take on, think of how many ministry vehicles sit most of the week unused. Surely as a citywide network we could start finding a solution -- perhaps building a Christian transportation network. [See subsequent comments below re Transportation.]

Internet tools are widely available to pull off something like this; in some ways, that's what craigslist.org is - just a message board that facilitates exchange of goods and services. It's just a matter of having a point person run the system and a little promotion; the harder part is getting the Christian orgs and indivs to use this kind of a citywide network on a regular basis!
please contact Missionary Connection on transportation needs information. MC is in process to purchase four buses...we would love to connect these resources for our brethren in need...

Truck transportation is available through Missionary Connection.
UseWhatYouveGotMinistry.org seems to be a neat transportation ministry for prison visitation in the Indiana area. Cecelia Whitfield, Director.
Here's another neat TRANSPORTATION related ministry... "Cars of Clay". Wouldn't it be awesome to see this ministry expand throughout the city?
