West Washington -- International Road...

The neighborhood addressed in this timely & interesting article in the Star this morning is where we're headed for key meetings tomorrow...

"In Marion County, the Hispanic population quadrupled from 8,450 in 1990 to 33,290 in the recent census. But along West Washington, the Hispanic population multiplied by six from 1990 to 2000. As a neighborhood, West Washington has been home to wave after wave of settlers of Irish, German, Italian, Appalachian and African heritage. All went through some growing pains."
