Giving Back: Volunteerism in Indiana

"Nationally, Indiana ranks 19th in the percentage of residents who volunteer, according to the Center for Urban Policy and the Environment at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Utah has the highest rate of volunteering, at 50 percent. For neighboring states, Michigan was listed 20th; Ohio ranked 24th; Illinois, 27th; and Kentucky, 28th"
