Indiana Christian News -- 2nd Anniversary

To our friends at the Indiana Christian News on their Second Anniversary:

It would be hard to over-estimate the value of having a solid Christian newspaper in the city.

Reflecting back to New Year's Eve, 2002... some friends among the Transform Indiana network got together to enjoy fellowship time, praising God and praying in the new year... asking Him to bless our cities above and beyond our efforts of faith... that is, to work 'extraordinarily' in our midst... and promising Him we'd be quick to give Him the praise.

I thank God regularly now for one such extraordinary blessing He gave Indiana that year -- the 2003 start-up of Indiana Christian News.

At the time we were praying, none of us knew Sam & Kelly, nor did we have any idea what God had in store. But what a surprise blessing the paper has been -- researching and reporting stories to which area Christians would not otherwise have access. Helping each of us learn about other great ministries & businesses. Committing resources to great collaborative events like Faith Fest and the recent Indiana Christian Expo. And providing energy to spark new efforts of faith by your many readers across Central Indiana.

Moreover, the publication is theologically diverse, yet stalwart on the core tenets of the faith, and regularly seeks to put that faith into print... and action.

So congratulations on your 2nd anniversary... Sam, Kelly and all the fine writers and expediters... at Indiana Christian News. We praise God for all of you.

YBIC,
Neil Cox
