Outreach festival hits close to home...

Area churches are planning weeklong mission work in their neighborhoods in July

"A weeklong "Festival of Faith, Hope and Love" will join clergy and laity from seven churches on a mission trip into their Far Northside and Northeastside neighborhoods.

By announcing their outreach project two months in advance, organizers hope residents in the secular and business communities also will enlist as volunteers or sponsors for the charitable work in Nora and Castleton."
