What we don't talk about on Memorial Day...

The Bible-believing Christian community here in Indy is (hopefully) lovingly bound together by a common understanding from the scriptures of the good news of the Gospel. Yet from those core beliefs, we've then fanned out into a myriad of well-studied, finer understandings we've come to hold... and which distinguish us. But in the interests of love, harmony and the desire to know God's truth more adequately ourselves, we need to humbly & often go the extra mile... climb out of our 'box'... in an attempt to learn about something from brothers & sisters who have come to believe differently on some matters. We open ourselves to possibly gaining a sharper understanding of scripture.... not to mention, new friends. And at the very least, we honor each other by listening to things they hold near & dear.

In that light, I encourage you to continue to 'BikeHiker', and try to understand how some Bible-believing Christians view Memorial Day. [continued]
