'Indy Timeline' of Upcoming Events "Spoken"... Professor wants you on videotape.
"Patrick Craig Manning wants to hear what you have to say.
An assistant professor of photography at Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Manning wants to videotape Indiana residents 18 and older talking about their opinions, dreams, ideas, memories and cherished places.
He's going to use the resulting video footage to create an installation called "Speak/Spoken," which will be shown on two outdoor screens under West Street Bridge along the canal in Downtown Indianapolis.
According to Manning, "Speak/Spoken" will be both a record of what his interview subjects say and a means for people to hear and see one another in an urban environment..."
