"It's hard to believe that we are 200 editions into the Not-for-Profit eNews. As many of you know, this is largely a volunteer effort, supplemented by small fees from advertising. We have retained our commitment to not competing with you for grant funding and plan to stay that way. I hear stories every week about people who have new jobs because of a posting in the newsletter, found a valuable new resource, or learned about something they had missed in the paper - and from employers about the great candidates they get when they advertise. We also have dozens of organizations that benefit each year from the Swap Meet.
We often have people ask us if they can make a donation to thank us for the work we do - either meeting a specific need or producing this newsletter week in and week out. We usually say "No, but thanks". In June 2005, we are saying 'YES, PLEASE MAKE A DONATION, but not to us'."
