Apostles, Prophets, Etc.
"Eph 4:11. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Some say four fold, some say five fold ministry. Personally, I don't think that distinction is very important. I think the main point is that God has gifted the church with individuals rather than programs or systems to accomplish its mission.
God could have given the church the blueprints to the best programs and models but what was given was people, specially gifted, to get the job done. It is an organic solution. Completely flexible and adaptable to any and all situations.
