Remember the poor in our midst

"In Indianapolis and elsewhere, the poor are often overlooked in a culture built upon bigger and faster, better and more expensive. We are without a doubt a people who are generous when our attention is riveted on scenes of destruction and suffering, but we also are apt to quietly pass by neighbors with little means and little hope."
