CCDA... Off & running...
Eagles running-back-turned-pastor Herb Lusk spoke Wednesday morning to over 600 Indianapolis leaders, civic-heroes, pastors, and others gathered for the annual Leadership Prayer Breakfast at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Mayor Bart Peterson welcomed everyone to this 13th annual gathering, specifically devoted to 'praying for those in authority'. The breakfast also honored CCDA leaders gathered here as their national conference convened in Indianapolis. Pastor Lusk shared his story of God's grace in his life, and now his new opportunities to impact others.
Dr. Sharron Underwood then spoke at the evening's plenary session to a crowd of over 1,700 Christian community development enthusiasts. Dr. Underwood began a career at McDonald’s first as a Manager-Trainee. From there she moved up the ranks becoming a Field Consultant for McDonalds in 1993. Today she is a franchise owner-operator in the city of Fort Wayne... [continued]
