Interesting that you would say "And consider who else brings to your city their time, talent and treasure to help make it great. " I know a large number of gay and lesbian people who live in this city and do just that...they also pay taxes, raise their children in a loving and secure environment, and help to fix up the neighborhoods they live in. The neighborhood meetings I go to include many, many people who have asked for this ordinance so that they can live their lives without mistreatment...and so that they can continue to contribute to making this a great city. Please do not talk to me about the love of Christ in one breath and then in the next talk about opposing this ordinance. That is way too hypocritical and the God I was raised to honor hates hypocrisy.
