"Really Big City"... Sept.2006
Really Big City, “All Together Different” is a ministry of Kingdom United, a nonprofit organization out of Nashville, Tennessee with a mission to encourage and equip the body of Christ, from every nation, tongue and tribe to live out the biblical principles of community and commission. RBC is partnering with Crossroads Bible College to bring a Really Big City Festival to Indianapolis in September 2006 as part of their 25th Anniversary Celebration. The festival is a two-day unity event targeting young adults from all cultures, that includes music concerts with national recording artists, keynote speakers and open forum/panel discussion with an ongoing service fair offering various involvement opportunities and unity initiatives.The RBC Leadership Council meets once a month and we invite church, community and corporate leaders, young adult group leaders and young adult representatives to be a part of the planning and development of this event and future racial reconciliation initiatives. The next Leadership Council meeting is scheduled for Saturday, December 10th with lunch provided from 11 am – 1 pm at Crossroads Bible College, 601 North Shortridge Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
