Rudy remembers Spencer Perkins

The preeminent CCDA blogger, Rudy Carrasco -- who turned me onto this new free & easy publishing vehicle -- returned home to Pasadena to blog his reflections from the conference and some of the reconciliation issues still at hand. Rudy refers us to a great article written by Dr. John Perkins' son, Spencer...

"This quote comes from the article, Playing the Grace Card by Spencer Perkins. It’s the text of the last public address Spencer ever gave. He addressed a racial reconciliation conference in early 1998, and one week later he suffered heart failure and died. In my recent musings about race I remembered this article and dug it up at the [Christianity Today] Library."
