Indianapolis women... a question from San Diego

"Hello from San Diego.

I located your indychristian.com website while attempting to help a women from Indianapolis who emailed this morning inquiring about our organization, Professional Women’s Fellowship in San Diego (http://www.pwfsd.org/). She had found our site and asked if there was something similar in your area.

Not knowing of one, I “googled” and came up with your information.

PWF is an association of San Diego County Christian women who are professionals and/or in business, community or ministry leadership, and who connect for fellowship, challenge, learning, encouragement, service, and networking. We hold regular monthly meetings, weekly Bible studies in several locations throughout the county, an annual retreat, workshops, social events, and other activities.

PWF members and friends support and participate in a variety of community outreach programs and service projects, including GRACE Talks, a class for the resident women of the San Diego Rescue Mission led by PWF. Our 2005 Christmas project provided gifts to local children through Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree program. In addition, over a number of ministries and charities are led by PWF members who we encourage and support.

We encourage our members and friends to access the prayer chain, career moves/job line, and other available resources, and we serve as an arm of many local churches who have no specific outreach to women in business and professional leadership. Our contact circle includes about 500 women here in San Diego County.

Being aware of other PWFs and similar organizations in other cities but not in Indianapolis, I’m seeking your help in locating one. I will appreciate any assistance you can provide.
