Tony Perkins provides Washington update for Indy pastors
Crossroads Bible College serves Indianapolis and the world, by training Christian leaders... i.e, pastors, counselors and lay men & women... to 'reach a multi-ethnic urban world for Christ'.
Tony Perkins
Today Crossroads hosted a luncheon, with Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council, Washington D.C. The luncheon was co-sponsored locally by American Family Association of Indiana, and Indiana Family Institute.
Tony carried the message of the FRC [as stated at their website]...
"We believe that America's pastors and churches are the keys to the survival and revival of our nation. More and more, we are gearing the efforts of the FRC, and producing tools to help pastors and churches do what only they can do to bring transformation to our culture, including the public policy arena. As a pastor, whether your church is large or small God has given you power and authority to make big changes in our country through preaching, prayer and teaching your people how to be active, wise and faithful Christian citizens."
He encouraged pastors to...
- Pray
- Hold a "Citizenship Sunday"
- Multiply your impact. Find 12 other pastors to do likewise.
The FRC now specially provides resources especially for pastors...

And while you're at the FRC site, stop by their blog which today features this story as the ACLU assisted two Indiana inmates in filing suit... against the Indiana Department of Correction to overturn a policy that bars magazines such as Playboy and Hustler.
