Reopened schools offer communities hope

Olgen Williams, a School Board member who has lived in Haughville for 28 years, said the reopening of School 63 will help heal wounds inflicted by having to send neighborhood children elsewhere to learn.
"We lost a history, we lost a future," he said. "Now it's a whole different atmosphere."
Williams hopes the new school will encourage people to return to Haughville and will help rebuild the community."
