Missions Merger: ACMC + Caleb Project = 'Initiative 360'

Littleton, Colorado - October 2, 2006 - Dr. Gregory Fritz, CEO of the former ACMC (Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment - Fort Wayne, Indiana) and Caleb Project (Littleton, Colorado) is pleased to announce the name and vision of the newly formed ministry: Initiative360 - Take it global.

Initiative360 seeks to further the kingdom of Jesus Christ by serving the missions interests of believers and the churches, agencies, and institutions of which they are a part in world outreach. The new organization will help believers and their churches explore, discover, and activate their roles in God’s mission, whether in local neighborhoods or around the world. As a partnership of members, Initiative360 will walk alongside churches on their missional journey with life-changing products, services, curriculum, and real-time experiences.

Regarding the new name, Fritz says, "I have always been encouraged and blessed by those who take initiative with the faith that God gives them. God himself is the Divine Initiator, the One who created the world and all mankind, redeems us from our sinful existence, and sends us out with his salvation message to the peoples who have yet to receive the gospel."

"Like the Joshua 3 story in which God moves the priests to first step in the river, we are called to take steps of faith and obedience." Fritz continues "and as we walk, he will lead us to the nations. As you take steps of faith and interact with those in your church, community, and the world, your obedience and love for Jesus will be an encouragement for those walking with you!"
