Assemblies of God... national convention coming to Indy



"IMPACT... is the theme for the 52nd General Council. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, early believers in the book of Acts literally turned their world upside-down. Is it possible that as we meet in Indianapolis that the same Spirit could empower us for service and anoint us for ministry? In recent months, our world been impacted by natural disasters, wars, political and business corruption and the rapid rise of false religions, to name a few. It is time for the Church to repent, seek God, and rise with new commitment and determination to IMPACT our homes, communities, churches and the world for Jesus Christ."



'Impact Indy ’07 – This month-long outreach to the city of Indianapolis will culminate at the 52nd General Council, offering delegates the opportunity to participate in extreme makeovers of inner-city churches, a Convoy of Hope outreach, a new church plant, MEGA Sports camps and AIM evangelism teams."

Then the convention itself will convene August 8-11, 2007.
