Homeless Connect... Mon. Feb. 12th

On Monday, February 12, 2007, Indiana Convention Center, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the City of Indianapolis and the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) will host the second annual Indy Homeless Connect, a one day event linking those experiencing homelessness with available services. Last year’s event was an overwhelming success involving over 450 volunteers and 50 organizations. We served 900 of our homeless neighbors, providing them with medical care, mental health counseling referrals, employment guidance, and information about housing along with haircuts, book distribution and more.

There are a variety of ways to get involved...

P.S. Something new this year is the addition of a prayer room for our homeless neighbors or anyone who would like to pray, be prayed for, or pray for someone else. If you would like to be a part of this or want more information about the prayer room, please contact Marquisha Bridgeman.
