Tony Dungy in trouble with gay-rights advocate



"State and national gay rights groups are questioning Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy's decision to appear at a fundraising banquet this month for a conservative Christian group backing a proposed state ban on same-sex marriage.

The Indiana Family Institute plans to honor Dungy on March 20th with its "Friend of the Family" award. The institute has been a leading supporter of a proposed state constitutional amendment defining marriage as only between one man and one woman."

[IndyChristian Commentary: While the Fox28 article asserts that Dungy is in trouble with state & national groups, they only city one named individual and no 'groups'. So it's hard to say just how accurate their story is. But in any event, we all know that winning the Super Bowl, great as it was, was only one contest. The greater contest for all of us is the 'Indy 400'.]
