Day 38 FHL 40-day prayer

Our prayer focus for Faith, Hope and Love Week is taken from Isaiah 61:1-2:

July 25, 2007
“The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me
because He has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,”

Who are the brokenhearted? A single mom holding an eviction notice, the runaway living under a bridge, the homeless standing beside the highway with sign in hand, the lonely child who longs for an absent parent… Empower us by Your spirit, Jesus, to restore the brokenhearted.

para predicar las buenas nuevas a los pobres
y a vendar a los quebrantados"

¿Quiénes son los quebrantados…? Una madre soltera que trae en sus manos una noticia de desalojar su casa,el que deambula por las calles viviendo debajo de los puentes, el que no tiene casa parado al lado de la carretera con un aviso en la mano…el nino abandonado que busca por todo lado a su padre ausente; Senor fortalecenos con tu espiritu para restaurar a los quebrantados.
