Day 39 FHL 40-day prayer

Our prayer focus for Faith, Hope and Love Week is taken from Isaiah 61:1-2:

July 26, 2007
“The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me
because He has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim freedom for the captives,”

Jesus, You long to free us from the captivities of man: discrimination, racism, prejudice, intolerance, social status, fear of man, economic inequality. Your message was freedom. Help us to clearly proclaim, through our words and our actions that true freedom comes only through You.

Jesús, tu nos deseas hombres libres de la: descriminacion, el racismo, la intolerancia, las clases sociales, el prejuzjar. Tu mensaje es de libertad. Ayúdanos a proclamar claramente, con nuestras palabras y nuestras acciones que la libertad verdadera viene solamente a través de ti.
