Christian Community Development... November 16th
Brookside Community Church a neighborhood church plant
affiliated with Northview Christian Life Center in Carmel.
Those interested in the growing cityreaching concept -- here in Indy/Indiana commonly referred to as "Transform Indiana" -- will meet on Friday (not our usual Thursday), November 16 at Brookside Church, 1035 N. Olney St., at 12 noon (til 2:00 pm).
Aaron Shelby, Urban Ministry Pastor for Brookside Community Church, will be our host for the day.
While as cityreachers we typically pray & plan together, the special topic on Nov. 16th will be feedback & discussion re CCDA St. Louis 2007. And how to translate what we learn from each other into greater local action in the name of Christ.

So... as always, the lunchtime event serves to CONNECT the driven Christian leaders in the city. Come get to know people you'd really like to get to know.
"Connect great hearts & minds... they'll know what to do."
Aaron and a number of others... like Chris & Mary Provence, Frank Alexander and Alphonso Bailey will have just returned from the national CCDA conference in St. Louis... no doubt with a sense of excitement about how we can better BE the Church in our communities and DO what Jesus has charged us with doing. So come share that enthusiasm & learning... and together let's help determine 'next steps' for citywide ministry.
Everyone welcome. But it's 'BYOL'... so stop by McD's on the way.
