"Thy Kingdom Come".... book signing, Jan. 2nd
[per press release]Carmel, IN – Nick Carter, local business owner and lay minister, will sign copies of his new book “Thy Kingdom Come: A Prayer of Victory,” at Capstone Café & Bookstore (part of Northview Christian Life Church) on Wednesday, January 2nd from 6:30 until 7:30 PM. Attendees may also sign-up for a seven-week group study to be led by Nick Carter at Capstone.
The book traces the theme of the Kingdom of God throughout the Bible, beginning in Genesis and concluding with the New Testament prophecies of Christ’s return to reign. “People can find amazing joy and excitement in a kingdom-focused understanding of Jesus Christ,” Carter explains. By examining the message of the Bible with a new kind of perspective—a perspective that acknowledges our desire to succeed and be victorious in our lives—Carter brings the characteristics of God to life in ways many Christians have never seen before.
Carter leads the “20-Somethings” ministry at Faith Missionary Church in Indianapolis and teaches a Bible study there each Sunday. As Carter explains, the book was inspired by his teaching experiences: “Studying and meditating on God’s glory that is to be revealed through the victory in His Son Jesus Christ has become an intoxicating passion in my heart.” Carter plans to spread his passion through author-led group studies like the one to be held each Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at Capstone from January 5th to February 16th.
