Various Perspectives on Mormonism
[IndyChristian disclaimer: We are not advocating for particular candidates, or in this case, even advocating for particular pundits' points-of-view. This clip explaining the origins of humanity from the Mormon perspective is over 626,000 views already on YouTube alone."

IndyChristian Commentary: This morning I was reading II Peter 2, which includes... "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them -- bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up."
Hmmm... stories they have made up? I have to wonder (now aloud for your comments)... Think of the heat on current-day political leaders for making the critical decision to invade Iraq based on the limited information they had at hand. Now with near-20/20 hindsight, seemingly everyone has turned and are distancing themselves (as best they can) from that decision... faulting the limited information. But imagine a worse scenario... What if we now found out that the 'evidence' the leaders had been relying on was a book filled with hieroglyphics called the 'Book of Abraham'... which someone, say President Bush, had personally translated? Worse yet, how livid would we be when we found out that its 'translation' had been discredited years ago after the Rosetta Stone was discovered which helped us truly translate hieroglyphics?
So what exactly SHOULD we think of the DISCERNMENT of a political candidate who even today continues to advocate for the credibility of the 'fathers of his faith'... and chooses to continue relying upon on their stories?

FoxNews posed some key questions to the Church of the Latter Day Saints... and the following is an awkward-if-not-hilarious excerpt...
"The Church objected to answering some of the questions on the grounds that they misrepresent the basic tenets of the Mormon religion."
But you can at least read the questions the church WAS willing to answer... [full article here]
