When Position A is in opposition to Position B. The only way to make any progress in the argument is to bring in new info that isn't already integrated into A or B.

This whole Big Bang Theory is wrong because the bible says so doesn't really help the cause of the cross at all.

When we get to heaven; we're ALL going to find out that we were wrong about a great many things. Is the age of the universe really the hill we want to die on?

Position A: The Bible is right, even though it violates evidence and logic. 'There is no scientific evidence supporting Big Bang' - just because Ken Hamm says there isn't.

Position B: The Big Bang theory was based on and developed from overwhelming objective evidence, and supported by the scientific establishment.

I guess I'll take Position B.
