Homeschooling legal challenge in California--get involved

If you haven't yet heard about it yet, there was a ruling last week that makes homeschooling illegal in California. The case involved a family that had long history of issues with their children, so the courts ruled that they were not permitted to homeschool their children anymore. The issue for ALL California homeschooling families is that this ruling sets precedent and applies to ALL in homeschoolers in the state.

I urge you to learn the details and sign the petition at Home School Legal Defense right away. HSLDA is working hard to "unpublish" the case--making it only applicable to those involved in the case (and not all California homeschoolers). The ruling is also being appealed. This case is extremely important for the rights of parents, Christians, and homeschoolers. Get involved, and of course, pray.
