How can I say thanks!



















We just had a lock-in Friday from 10pm to 7 am...rested a little then to the church Saturday at 3pm to prep 1200 shoes to be distributed in and around the church on Sunday. Early....6am Sunday Morning a group of young people completed a task that at times we were not sure we could pull off but they knew they would do whatever they needed to get the job done. With support from the Pastor Moore, youth advisors.., Northside, St. Florian Center..and the community they did it.


We displayed the shoes., they incorporated a video that was shown during both services then after church we collected shoes to be distributed to Goodwill, Salvation Army and our missionary outreach in Nigeria...but somthing really cool happen. People in the neighborhood were able to take shoes. One young lady with Y-TASK (youth ministry of Northside) said Sis. D..I feel really good about helping someone else..she said that after helping a gentleman walking down the street get a couple pair of tennis for himself. So beyond Project 1200, an opportunity for young people to know they CAN make a difference.
