Day Eighteen: Faith, Hope and Love 2008: Daily Prayer Focus / Dieciocho Dia: Fe, Esperanza y Amor 2008 Enfoco Diario de Oraciones

Prayer for Today:

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 “You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13

Jesus, Your message was one of freedom and faith. You long to free us from the captivities of man: discrimination, racism, prejudice, intolerance, social status, fear of man, economic inequality. Help us to clearly proclaim, through our words and our actions that true freedom comes only through You.

Les hablo así, hermanos, porque ustedes han sido llamados a ser libres; pero no se valgan de esa libertad para dar rienda suelta a sus *pasiones. Más bien sírvanse unos a otros con amor. Gálatas 5:13

Jesús, Tu mensaje era uno de libertad y fe. Tú anheles a librarnos de los cautiverios del hombre: la discriminación, el racismo, el prejucio, la intolerancia, el estatus social, el temor del hombre y la desigualdad económica. Ayúdanos a proclamar claramente por medio de nuestras palabras y acciones que la libertad verdadera solamente viene de Ti.
