Be A Blessing Where You Are!






Have you passed through the intersection of 34th and Washington Blvd lately? At that intersection you will find a new artificial turf football field . Tabernacle Presbyterian Church has been light in the Fallcreek/Mapleton community for many years. Tabernacle ministers to the community with the compassion and heart of Christ. One of the things unique to "TAB" is its Recreation Ministry. To mention anything about the Fallcreek/Mapleton neighborhood one would be remised to not mention TAB Rec.

TAB Rec is a recreation ministry bringing hope and renewal to a community. How many of us are a "TAB" product? From soccer, t-ball, basketball, chess, cheerleading, softball, track and football to name a few of their programs. Recent updates to the football field are a beautiful addition to the neighborhood. Yet the beauty and many programs do not compare to the lives touched by caring staff and coaches.

Programs offered by TAB help teach young people about discipline, character and teamwork. Praise God for programs like Tab across the city making a difference in the lives of others. So the next time you pass the intersection of 34th and Washington Blvd. say a prayer for Tabernacle Presbyterian, Pastor John Gable and Ben Hughes TAB Rec Director along with all the countless children who have or will come through the gates of TAB Rec.
