Lilly Employees... A Day of Service

Thousands of Eli Lilly and Co. employees took to the playground, the interstate and the underpass to beautify and better Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Lilly's second annual Global Day of Service sent 9,500 employees to more than 50 spots throughout the city instead of the office. They joined thousands of colleagues from Singapore to Poland in renovating outdoor play areas, restoring ecosystems and doing other work.
