Taylor Hosts Conference On Computing and Missions
[Follow the conference chatter... #ICCM]Missionaries from around the world will gather at Taylor University for a time of fellowship and shared learning with a focus on using technology to further the kingdom of Christ.
The 20th International Conference on Computing and Mission (ICCM), scheduled June 12 - June 16, is an annual informal gathering of women and men who have a common interest in computers and mission.
Each year, ICCM offers multiple conference tracks which focus on different aspects of technology. The workshops focus on topics ranging from understanding the basics to expanding technological expertise to leadership. Additionally, there is a "Sandbox Lab," open for experimentation and installation of various operating systems and applications.
One thing that is different every year is the topical track. Each ICCM conference has its own theme with a corresponding track. This year, the theme is "Horizons" - focusing on how future technology will impact missions-related technology positions.
