"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus..." (Philippians 2)

Eleven years ago when I retired from the US Air Force, I needed a job. I had several interviews but no offers. I prayed about one specific job and within an hour I got a call. I was told that I would receive a rejection letter but to ignore it, the boss wanted to see me. I interviewed with the boss and got the job. I kept the rejection letter to remind me of Who made the jon happen for me. God made it all happen. He is my rock.
