MLK Day: Are We Changing?

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. pointed out the obvious: That 11am Sunday morning is the most segregated hour of the week. Here in #Indy, are we, the Church, changing? And if so, what are some of the basic drivers of change?

Here's a great article and resource by Andrew Sears as we consider the issue.

Here's a great (and local !) bible college training Christian leaders to reach a multi-ethnic urban world for Christ.

Here's a special ministry geared solely to this issue in the Church.

Here's a great little cafe ministry (truly) in the 'heart' of the city... doing ministry as they also create a hospitable multicultural mixing bin for building relationships outside our 'box'.

At IndyChristian.TV, we attempt to create a fresh-daily playloop of video content reflecting a very diverse 'Multicultural Church'. What might be learned from each other? It may also help you navigate your own thoughts about just how often our 'personal preference' becomes an idol, effectively keeping us divided.

And no doubt there are many many more efforts among you to better 'be the Church' here in our metro area. We'd like to hear from you -- what are YOU doing intentionally to break down barriers dividing Christ-followers?
