'Elections Have Consequences'... Obama Signs Hate Crimes Bill

As was predicted before the election, Congressional Democratic Leadership and President Obama have added "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to a list of federally protected groups that will be given great protection than the average crime victim. Hate crimes legislation was snuck into a "must pass" defense appropriations bill and signed by the President on Wednesday.
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs-- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Indianapolis Announced As 2010 Legacy Build Host City

The Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana announced today that the City of Indianapolis has won its bid to become the “International Host City” of the second annual Millard Fuller Legacy Build (MFLB) 2010 initiative.
As part of the global home-building event, the Central Indiana covenant partner will construct nine new homes and rehabilitate 20 others in a near Southside Indianapolis neighborhood in just five days from Sept. 6-10, 2010. FCH Central Indiana will work in cooperation with “South East Neighborhood Development” (SEND) in Indiana.
Covenant Partners of the Fuller Center for Housing worldwide will be dedicating more than 100 homes as part of the MFLB 2010 event.

More than 200 people from all around the United States joined the Crescent Project Oasis 2009 Conference this past weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Founder and president of the ministry Fouad Masri describes the event. "It's designed to mobilize, equip, and encourage Christians in North America to reach out in love to Muslims who have moved here to this country."
Outreach to Muslims hasn't been top priority for Christians. Masri says, "For every million Muslims, we have two missionaries, which means each one has to reach 500,000."
Most Christians are either afraid or don't know where to begin to reach Muslims. The reality is that most Muslims want to know about Jesus and the Bible...

It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
